About
History
Windclub Hawaii was born out of the desire to create new opportunities for emerging windsport athletes in Hawai'i and build a stronger, more visible and competitive local community for these sports. With our immediate focus on windfoiling and winging, we aim to develop the next generation of windsport athletes in Hawai'i. We are the first club in Hawai'i to specifically train youth and adults in iQFoiling, the fast and exciting new windfoil class that debuted at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France.
We produce champions from Hawai'i by focusing on developing our local riders and coaches and providing opportunities to a wider range of youth to build a base for the sport by making windsurfing more accessible. We're proud to have been endorsed by US Sailing as the Olympic Development Program in Hawai'i for iQFoiling, and we hold official 501c3 nonprofit status. The club is currently fully managed and operated by volunteers.
